Short Information: Online applications are invited from Indian nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/Technical i.e. JIO-11/Tech in IB, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India. The eligibility criteria and other relevant details are as follows:
Selection Process
Written Examination 100 Marks: The candidates will be required to appear for a written examination consisting of objective-type questions. The exam will assess the candidate’s knowledge in General Awareness, Arithmetic, General English, Reasoning, and Technical Subjects.
Skill or Trade Test 30 Marks: Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for a trade test to evaluate their practical skills in handling technical equipment.
Personal Interview 20 Marks: Shortlisted candidates from the trade test will be called for a personal interview, which will assess their suitability for the post.
Document Verification: Finally, the selected candidates will be required to produce the necessary documents for verification.
As a Junior Intelligence Officer, Grade-II, your responsibilities
Conducting intelligence operations: Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence information through various means, such as surveillance, technical equipment, and research.
Technical expertise: Utilizing specialized technical skills and knowledge in areas such as radio technology, electronics, and communication to support intelligence operations and handle technical equipment effectively.
Information processing: Processing and evaluating intelligence data, maintaining databases, and generating reports for further analysis and action.
Collaborative work: Coordinating with other intelligence agencies, law enforcement agencies, and stakeholders to exchange information, collaborate on investigations, and support security initiatives.
Security measures: Implementing and maintaining security protocols and measures to protect classified information and ensure the integrity of intelligence operations.
Adherence to regulations: Following the guidelines, protocols, and legal frameworks set by the Intelligence Bureau and relevant government agencies to ensure compliance and ethical conduct in intelligence activities.
